A FOCUSED CEMENT INDUSTRY OFFER
Wear is inevitable.
Repeating the same
short life is not
Every wear problem has its own combination of abrasion, impact, temperature, feed material and maintenance constraints. CHASE brings the component and the operating duty together, helping cement producers assess proven high-chrome and composite options without being tied to a standard catalogue part.
The result may be a like-for-like replacement, a reverse-engineered component or a material upgrade for a recognised wear point, with the commercial and technical route managed through CHASE.
CEMENT MILL WEAR COMPONENTS
Grinding components for raw and finish mills
Grinding roller segments, table segments, grinding tyres and mill linings engineered for severe abrasion, impact and the operating profile of each mill.
Grinding roller segments
New and replacement roller segments for vertical roller mills, supplied in high-chrome white iron or with ceramic reinforcement concentrated across the critical grinding zones.
Table segments
Individually replaceable table segments, engineered to the mill profile and wear pattern, with matched drawings, machining and checking arrangements for dependable fit-up.
Mill linings and wear parts
Mill linings, wear plates, chute liners, crusher parts and other engineered castings for abrasive raw meal, clinker and finished-cement duties.
Grinding tyres
Monobloc or segmented grinding tyres for raw and finish mills, with material and ceramic coverage selected around abrasion, impact and the usable wear profile.
MATERIAL SELECTION
More wear life starts with the right material system.

High-chrome white iron
High hardness and strong abrasion resistance for grinding, crushing and material-handling duties, including EN 12513 XCr23 and modified XCr14 grinding grades.
Ceramic-infiltrated composite
High-chrome white iron reinforced at critical wear zones with ceramic, offering the potential for considerably longer service life in suitable low-to-moderate impact applications.
Reinforced castings
Steel reinforcement can be incorporated into selected castings to support integrity where thermal cycling, geometry or service conditions demand it.
*Performance depends on duty and operating conditions; every application is reviewed before a material recommendation is made.
ADVANCED CERAMIC COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
The ceramic is engineered into the casting, not applied as an afterthought.
Ceramic where the wear happens
Ultra-hard ceramic or carbide is positioned through the principal wear zone, then infiltrated with molten high-chrome white iron at high temperature and elevated pressure.

Coverage engineered to the profile
Ceramic depth, density and placement can be varied around the component geometry, including deep wear layers of up to 60 mm on selected grinding designs.
Designed before it is cast
Casting simulation, CAD modelling and finite-element analysis support methoding, while scanning, CNC patterns and controlled trials help turn the design into a repeatable component.
Ceramic coverage and performance are application-specific and are confirmed only after technical review of the duty, geometry, impact level and wear history before a material recommendation is made.
ENGINEERING SUPPORT
A controlled route from worn part to working replacementineered into the casting, not applied as an afterthought.
Whether starting from a drawing, sample or worn component, CHASE coordinates the engineering, manufacture and inspection required to produce a traceable replacement.
Assess the wear duty
We review the component, material, feed, wear pattern and operating conditions before recommending a route.
Capture and verify the geometry
Worn parts can support scanning and modelling, with approved 2D drawings, a matching 3D model and critical tolerances agreed before production
Engineer, cast and machine
Casting simulation, patterns, machining and checking jigs, controlled heat treatment and final machining are brought together around the agreed design
Inspect, certify and release
Dimensional checks, hardness testing, LPI on agreed critical areas and certificates of analysis provide a clear record before dispatch.
Quality scope agreed before manufacture

BEYOND LIKE-FOR-LIKE REPLACEMENT
Engineer the component around whole-life cost.
The lowest purchase price is rarely the full answer when installation time, shutdown exposure and replacement frequency are included. For suitable cement-grinding applications, CHASE can explore a staged and more maintainable component strategy.
Replaceable wear segments
For suitable large grinding tyres, worn ceramic-composite segments can be replaced while retaining the steel hub or chassis, reducing replacement material and whole-life cost.
Trial-first development
A trial component or set can be manufactured, inspected and measured in service before the balance is completed, giving both parties evidence before committing further.
Profile optimisation
Where geometry and wear patterns permit, symmetrical profiles, rotatable arrangements and revised ceramic coverage can be evaluated to improve utilisation of the wearing face.
These options are application-dependent and are confirmed only after review of the component geometry, duty and wear history.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which cement wear parts can CHASE supply?
Our offer covers grinding roller segments, table segments, grinding tyres, mill linings, crusher wear parts, blow bars, wear plates, chute liners, rolls, venturis, spools, elbows and other engineered high-wear castings.
Can a component be produced without an original drawing?
A worn sample can often be scanned and modelled to support the engineering process. Before manufacture begins, the component definition, approved 2D drawing, matching 3D model and critical tolerances must be agreed.
What information helps CHASE assess an enquiry?
A drawing or photographs, principal dimensions, material specification, operating duty, feed characteristics, wear history, quantity and required delivery date give us the best starting point..
Which inspection and quality records can be supplied?
The inspection scope can include dimensional checks, BHN hardness testing on every component, liquid penetrant inspection of agreed critical areas and a certificate of analysis for each part. Any additional NDT or documentation should be defined with the quality plan before order.
